Overview

The American Changer AC-2005 is a rear load dual hopper bill changer that doubles the coin capacity of the standard AC-1005 model while adding only 5 inches to the machine width. Designed specifically for laundry and car wash applications where higher coin capacity is essential, this unit can hold up to 5,200 total quarters across two hoppers. The machine features a heavy-duty stainless steel faceplate with pull-away design that minimizes repair costs if vandalized.

Dual Hopper Capacity

Two independent hoppers provide 2,600 quarters per hopper for 5,200 total quarter capacity, or 2,200 dollar coins per hopper for 4,400 total dollar coin capacity. Each hopper dispenses 4 coins per second on average and can dispense one or two types of coins simultaneously including quarters, tokens, or dollar coins.

Enhanced Bill Acceptance

Standard Pyramid validator accepts $1, $5, $10, and $20 bills with 1,000-note stacker capacity. Can be programmed to accept many world currencies. Optional MARS validators available with 700-note or 1,000-note stacker capacities.

Vandal-Resistant Design

Heavy-duty stainless steel faceplate features pull-away design that minimizes repair costs when vandalized. Cabinet constructed from 12 gauge welded steel with black powder coat finish for durability. Available with “Change” or “Tokens” front configuration and custom cut faceplate options.

Token Compatibility

Accepts tokens ranging from 3/4″ to 1 1/8″ in diameter and .049″ to .098″ in thickness, providing flexibility for various token-based operations.

Rear Loading Access

Rear load design allows for convenient servicing and coin loading without requiring front access, ideal for installations where front access is limited.

Plug-in Ready Operation
