Overview

The ICE Air FX Pro is an 8-foot regulation-size air hockey table designed for home game rooms and built to the same standards as the commercial-grade ICE Air FX found in arcades. The table is constructed from powder-coated steel with furniture-grade hardwood accents and a 3/8-inch LED-backlit acrylic play surface. Every unit is hand-built to order at ICE’s Buffalo, NY headquarters, where the company has been manufacturing games since 1982.

Buyers can personalize the table with NHL team playfield graphics, a choice of ice surface style, steel rail color, and wood stain finish. The table ships mostly assembled and is designed for two-person installation in 30 to 45 minutes.

Key Features

3/8-Inch LED-Backlit Acrylic Play Surface

The playing field is made from 3/8-inch thick acrylic with a furniture-grade finish, backlit with LEDs for a bright, consistent glow across the surface. The same surface design and build quality is used in ICE’s commercial arcade version of the Air FX, making this a true tournament-length playing experience at home.

Programmable LED Lighting

LEDs are integrated into the lower legs and the corners of the playfield, linked to form a distinctive “X” pattern. The lighting is fully programmable, allowing owners to create custom color effects and patterns at any time.

Automatic Scoreboard with Sound Effects and Music

The table includes an integrated automatic electronic scoreboard with built-in sound effects and music to complement gameplay.

Phenolic Bumper System

The bumper system uses a phenolic material that reduces noise and delivers consistent rebound during play compared to traditional bumper constructions, making it well suited to home environments.

Powder-Coated Steel Frame with Hardwood Accents

The main frame is built from powder-coated steel available in black or white. Solid hardwood legs with LED accents are offered in multiple stain finishes: Whitewash, Espresso, Blue, Red, and Black. Side rails are also available in black or white to match the steel frame color.

Full NHL Team Customization

The playfield is available in a wide range of officially licensed NHL team graphics. Available team options include: Anaheim Ducks, Anaheim Ducks Original Logo, Boston Bruins, Buffalo Sabres, Carolina Hurricanes, Chicago Blackhawks, Colorado Avalanche, Columbus Blue Jackets, Dallas Stars, Detroit Red Wings, Florida Panthers, Florida Panthers 2024 Stanley Cup Edition, Hartford Whalers, Los Angeles Kings, Minnesota North Stars, Minnesota Wild, Montreal Canadiens, Nashville Predators, New Jersey Devils, New York Islanders, New York Rangers, Ottawa Senators, Philadelphia Flyers, Pittsburgh Penguins, Seattle Kraken, St. Louis Blues, Tampa Bay Lightning, Toronto Maple Leafs, Utah Hockey Club, Vegas Golden Knights, Washington Capitals, and a Galactic edition. Ice surface style is also selectable between Standard and Skated options. Note: some NHL team graphics are still in the approval process and may result in longer lead times.

How It Plays

Two players face each other across the 8-foot regulation playing surface, using mallets to strike a puck back and forth on the air-cushioned acrylic field. The automatic scoreboard tracks goals and plays corresponding sound effects, while the programmable LED lighting provides a consistent visual atmosphere during play. The phenolic bumper system keeps the game quieter than conventional air hockey tables, which is practical in a home setting.

Built to Order — Plan Ahead

Each table is hand-built to the buyer’s exact specifications after the order is placed. Production and shipping typically takes 2 to 3 weeks. ICE will contact the buyer as the unit nears completion to coordinate delivery. Some NHL team graphics are still pending approval and may require additional lead time.

Frame Color Availability

The powder-coated steel frame is available in white or black. The black frame option was temporarily unavailable and is expected to return to production in early 2026. Confirm current availability at the time of order.
