The Kalkomat Basketball arcade machine, manufactured by WIK, is a full-size coin-op basketball unit built for indoor and covered outdoor deployment. The metal and laminated polycarbonate cabinet is weatherproof, rated for seasonal outdoor placements where standard cabinets cannot go. The basket moves laterally during play in certain modes, and multiple units can be linked for simultaneous competitive scoring across all connected cabinets.

Moving Basket Mechanic

In certain game modes, the basket moves laterally during play, changing the target position on each shot attempt. The movement is mode-dependent — operators can select a fixed or moving basket by choosing the difficulty configuration that fits the intended player audience.

Four Operator-Selectable Difficulty Levels

Four preset difficulty levels are adjustable from the operator menu. Difficulty affects basket movement behavior and timing windows, allowing the same unit to run an accessible setting for younger players and a more demanding configuration for experienced ones.

Multi-Unit Linking for Competitive Group Play

Multiple Kalkomat Basketball machines can be linked so players on separate units compete simultaneously for the best score across all connected cabinets. The digital display on each unit shows live score, credits, and record during linked play.

Six-Wheel Mobile Base with Locking Blockades

The cabinet rides on six castors, each with an individual brake lock. Operators release the locks to roll the unit to a new floor position, then engage the blockades to fix it in place during operation — no dolly or additional handling equipment required.

Configurable Payment and Payout Options

How It Plays

The player shoots from a bank of five balls at the rim within a timed game window, with the basket potentially shifting position mid-round depending on the active difficulty mode. Each made shot registers immediately on the digital display, updating the running score and current record in real time. From nearby, the lateral basket movement and live scoreboard give bystanders a clear read on each attempt and round progress as it happens.
