Ubisoft All-Star VR is a multi-player VR ride attraction from LAI Games, built in collaboration with Ubisoft and D-BOX, featuring characters and worlds from Assassin’s Creed, Splinter Cell, Just Dance, and Far Cry across three ride adventures: Mecha Madness, Forbidden Island, and Path of Heroes. Each unit seats two players in D-BOX G5 actuator-driven motion seats with hardened DPVR E4 commercial headsets; two units can be linked to run a four-player session simultaneously. 17.6-Foot Curved LED Wall

A single curved LED wall spanning 17.6 feet sits directly behind the player seats, displaying the live game action in high resolution. The wall mirrors what players see inside their headsets, giving bystanders a full view of the ride from across the venue floor — even when no one is playing, the idle attract content on that wall is visible at a distance.

D-BOX G5 Actuator Motion Seats

Every seat is individually driven by D-BOX G5 actuator technology, delivering motion cues synchronized to each player’s in-headset perspective. Each rider’s physical movement — banking through turns, recoiling from hits — is independent, so two players on the same unit can feel different motion states at the same moment depending on their in-game position.

Mounted Dual-Function Controller

Each player station has a single mounted dual-stick controller that transitions between two physical functions — light gun and steering wheel — depending on what the current scene requires. The controller adapts automatically; players do not swap peripherals between sequences.

DPVR E4 Commercial Headsets

The DPVR E4 headsets are permanently attached to each player station and were designed specifically for commercial arcade use — hardened construction, secured mounting, and built for high daily cycle counts rather than consumer-grade home use.

How It Plays

Each player selects a character from one of the four Ubisoft franchises, then straps into a motion seat and puts on the DPVR E4 headset. Through the ride, the mounted controller shifts function automatically — at one point it’s a steering wheel tilting through a vehicle sequence, at another it’s a light gun during a combat section — while the D-BOX G5 seat moves in sync with the on-screen action. From outside the cabinet, bystanders watch the full ride play out on the 17.6-foot curved LED wall: players’ avatars visible at scale, motion seats banking and reacting, and the live score comparison between all four players displayed continuously.
