Twin Cobra is a military-themed vertically scrolling shoot-em-up game. The main goal of Twin Cobra is to defeat a variety of military enemy forces like tanks, battleships, and firearms by controlling the titular attack helicopter through ten increasingly challenging levels, each of which has a boss at the end that must be defeated in order to move on to the next level. At first glance, the game seems quite ordinary: players control their ship across a landscape that is continuously scrolling, and the scenery never stops until they reach a helipad. There are just two weapons available to players: three explosives and a regular shot that can travel up to the height of the screen.
