The Cornilleau 700X Outdoor is a full-feature outdoor table tennis table built around an 8mm resin laminate playing surface — the thickest in Cornilleau’s outdoor range — mounted on a 60mm Aluzinc® steel-aluminum-zinc alloy frame. It ships with a retractable net with independent height and tension adjustment, a 16-point DSI locking system, COMPACT TECHNOLOGY® folding, oversize double outdoor wheels, and an integrated accessory suite including point counters, cup holders, ball dispensers, and racket storage. 8mm Resin Laminate Playing Surface with MATTOP Anti-Glare Coating

The solid-core resin laminate top measures 8mm thick — the thickest panel in Cornilleau’s outdoor lineup — delivering a bounce consistent with competition-grade indoor tables. The MATTOP finish reduces glare tenfold compared to an uncoated surface, keeping the ball visible in direct sunlight. The laminate resists heavy rain, snow, extreme heat, and impact from paddle strikes without marking or warping.

60mm Aluzinc® Frame

The underframe is constructed from Aluzinc® — a corrosion-resistant alloy of steel, aluminum, and zinc — finished in black paint. At 60mm in height, the frame keeps the playing surface rigidly flat under load. All metal components carry anti-corrosion coating selected specifically for outdoor exposure.

16-Point DSI Locking System with Auto-Relock

The patented DSI system engages 16 locking points to secure the table in both the playing and storage positions. If the transport handle is released while the table is unfolding, the mechanism automatically re-locks at 65 degrees, arresting the panel before it can fall. Opening and closing is handled through a single accessible handle.

COMPACT TECHNOLOGY® Folding System

Cornilleau’s COMPACT TECHNOLOGY® brings the two halves closer together when folded, reducing the table’s stored footprint compared to a standard folding table. The narrowed gap between panels in storage position prevents access between the halves. The geometry also lowers the folded center of gravity, reducing the risk of tipping.

Oversize Double Outdoor Wheels and 3D Adjustable Swivel Feet

Each wheel measures 32 x 200mm — oversized relative to standard table tennis wheels — and is configured as a double wheel for lateral stability on uneven terrain. The wheels roll over grass, gravel, soil, and sand without sinking. Four brakes lock the table in both playing and storage positions. The tapered legs (120~80mm tapering to 80mm) terminate in 104mm diameter 3D swivel pads that compensate for uneven ground without lifting the table.

Integrated Accessory Suite

Built into the table’s frame: 2 retractable point counters, 2 storage compartments, 2 retractable cup holders, 2 ball dispensers, storage for 6 balls and 4 rackets, 1 carry-over transport handle, 8 hubcaps, and corner protection pads on all four corners. The retractable net auto-positions its posts when the table unfolds; height is set via a dial at the base and tension is adjusted by pulling and clasping the string.

How It Plays

Players pull a ball directly from the side-mounted dispenser and step to the table — no hunting for balls between games. The 8mm surface returns the ball with a flat, fast bounce that rewards topspin and drives; the consistency is closer to an indoor competition table than to typical outdoor recreational surfaces. From the sideline, the point counters mounted on the frame keep the score visible to anyone watching, and the retractable cup holders fold flush when a doubles rotation is in play.
